I think it is immoral because you can view the body the same if it is dead. Cutting apart a living organism seems cruel and inhumane because they feel every cut and slice until they die before your very eyes.
Vivisection can be moral if it is to save a life or something along those lines, but if it's for experiments like Juliet's father is doing, then it is immoral.
I think vivisection can be either one depending on the surgeon's morals. If the surgeon finds nothing wrong with it, them it's moral to them. If it were done on innocent people with no anestetic then I'd say its immoral. But if its done on people like prisoners, then it's moral because it would be their punishment.
Well, I think that religion considers vivisection immoral, while foreign cultures consider it moral. In my opinion (and everyone else's without religion as an influence) vivisection is gross and disgusting (though I want to see inside the body :3
I don't think it's moral. I feel that putting someone through a certain type of misery like that is cruel... I mean, I guess if it is for a good reason.. Such as saving that person's life, but vivisection just for experimentation isn't moral.
I think its both because it can allow doctors to look at the patients insides without killing them but if they use it and don't put the organs back inside then its immoral.
I think vivisection is cruel and unnecessary. There are many ways to achieve the same goal of vivisection putting animals or any living thing in pain.
i am reading the book NAZI HUNTERS and its really good book . so far what has happend is they are looking for a man named eichman ,a guy who sent orders to kill jews, they try to find him but they cant as everyone has given up the search on former nazis. they eventually get a informent that hes in argentina ,as argentina helped smuggle nazis,so they go they find a bunch of clues and they eventually find him and now they are trying to get him arrested and that is where i stoped
I don't have much background knowledge on vivisection, but i personally feel like it is a moral act, ONLY if it is benefiting studies on disease outbreaks or anything related.
Vivisection can be either or it is not by itself purely good or purely evil. In the hands of a person with a good sense of morale it can be used to save someones life or to develop new techniques to save lives. On the other hand in the hands of Juliet's father it can be used as a tool of destruction and scientific evil.
Both, because it's kind of necessary for medicine to advance, but its not okay that her Dad lets them die after he's done. That gross and wrong
Well i feel that the rabbit had been through enough pain and at least deserved to have the eternal piece that came with Juliet ending his life.
I think that while vivisection can tell us interesting things about the anatomy of animals, my system of values considers it immoral. However, there is no right and wrong set in stone. depending on a person's way of thinking something considered horrible is completely ok. Also people live different lives and learn different things and have different ethics. So my final answer is that it depends.
